The Hostess – Enneagram System

The Hostess is an identity system based off of my enneagram type, which is Type 2 Wing 3, or “The Hostess.” This type consists of traits such as charisma, generosity, reliability, and offering a source of comfort to others. These traits reminded me of the sense of nostalgia we get from watching television– and a person we often see on the screen is a TV host. Therefore, this brand is not just a hostess in the sense of being hospitable, but also being charismatic and social.

To elevate that feeling of nostalgia, I used Adobe After Effects to animate an introduction for the Hostess, inspired by old CRT tapes.
